Children’s Institute for Pain and Palliative Care

The Children's Institute for Palliative Care (CIPPC) provides training, continuing education, resources, consultation, and technical assistance to health care providers who are interested in developing more opportunities for pediatric palliative care in their communities. The institute also develops and supports a network of providers doing this work so that more children in our region can access needed palliative care.

The goals of CIPPC include:

  • Provide training and support to increase access to pediatric palliative care in the region.
  • Develop and maintain a central resource for pediatric palliative care.
  • Develop and support a network of providers of pediatric palliative care to ensure state of the art care for children in need.
  • Develop research and quality improvement initiatives.

This program offers a wonderful training opportunity for organizations interested in developing their capacity to provide pediatric palliative care in their communities. Applicants from rural or underserved areas are especially encouraged to apply.
