Mobile Simulation Training
Putting PALS, Trauma courses, and Crisis Resource Management into practice.
This course creates realistic, dynamic, pediatric emergency situations that require healthcare personnel to apply their knowledge of PALS or other standardized guidelines, and utilize technical and clinical decision-making skills in their response as a team. This course is customized to meet the needs of your organization and can cover a spectrum from early recognition of a child's deteriorating condition to resuscitation team training.
Putting NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. into practice.
This course creates realistic, dynamic, neonatal emergency situations that require health care personnel to apply their knowledge of NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. guidelines, while utilizing technical and clinical decision-making skills in their response as a organization.
Two 3-hour training sessions take place for multidisciplinary teams consisting of up to 8 team members, for a total of 16 people per day.
What to Expect
Children's Simulation Center staff collaboratively plan scenarios with you that meet various knowlege, skill, and teamwork objectives targeted at making low-volume, high-risk pediatric critical events safer.
Children's Mobile Simulation Training bus will arrive at your location the afternoon or evening prior to the training day. A space to park the 40-foot bus and a 50-amp plug is needed.
The simulation sessions begin with an introduction to simulation and debriefing, and the importance of confidentiality in the simulator to make the simulator a safe place to learn and practice. An introduction to the high-fidelity manikins and the simulated environment occurs, and the simulation scanrios begin.
Participants are asked to wear what they would typically wear to work to make the training sessions realistic. Three scenarios can be completed during each training session, and the sessions conclude with evaluations and feedback from the participants that are collated and returned to you for your records.
$3,400 per day which includes training for up to 16 participants, plus mileage at a rate of $2 per mile up to the first 500 miles.
