That is why the Kohl’s Cares program has awarded grants to Children's since 2009 to create the Kohl’s Cares and Children’s Flu Prevention Project. The project offers flu vaccine clinics and educational assemblies in schools to teach children about flu prevention. Check with your school to see if a clinic is coming up.

Through it’s many different initiatives, Kohl’s and the Kohl’s Cares for Kids program has awarded Children’s with over $5,493,000 in support. Whether it be sponsoring the Mobile Simulation Center, supporting influenza prevention or via the company’s Associates in Action volunteers, Kohl’s has been a champion for children in our community and Children’s is proud to be their partner in these efforts.

Associates in Action

When something needs to be done, you send your best. As Children’s has found, the best oftentimes is a Kohl’s A-Team! Through Kohl’s Associates in Action, local store Associates form teams of five or more to support Children’s and other local children’s charities. Kohl’s rewards and supports the team’s participation with a $500 corporate grant given directly to the charity. A-Team members are an integral part of Children’s corporate volunteer program and have been a tremendous asset throughout our organization.
