E-mail for patients at Children's
Patients may receive e-mail get well messages over the Internet. Using your normal
e-mail process, address your message to Get.Well@childrensmn.org.
Put the patient's name, hospital (Minneapolis or St. Paul), and room number (if known)
on the subject line. A printed message will be delivered to the patient's room.
Delivery will be once a day, Monday through Friday. To protect patient
confidentiality, we will not confirm that an e-mail has been delivered or whether a
patient is actually in one of our hospitals. Messages are undeliverable to discharged patients.
How to address concerns, complaints, and grievances
If you and your family have any questions, concerns, or wish to file a grievance, there are several
resources at Children's
who are available to assist you. There are also many
external resources,
such as the Joint Commission, Minnesota Department of Health, Office of Health Facilities Complaints, and others, with whom you may file a grievance. See a
complete list
of Children's and other support resources and contact information.
Toy Donations
Because of allergen and immunity concerns among patients, Children's is only able to accept new toys and cannot accept toys that have been part of private collections.
For a list of ongoing needs at Children's, please view Children's Wish List at Amazon.com.
